Submission Route and DTA Pools

A Research Organisation can set up pools of people who are able to add student records to the available screens. When a record is completed it is then sent to either an approver and/or a submitter pool before being submitted to Council. The person responsible for setting up and maintaining the pools at RO level is known as the RO Master ID.

Research organisations are strongly encouraged to establish a two-stage process incorporating both approver and submitter pools in order to improve the quality assurance of the submitted data to AHRC, BBSRC, EPSRC, ESRC, MRC, NERC and STFC.

If you do not see a document type of Studentship Details available to you, then you will need to contact the staff member within your organisation who has access to the RO Master ID in order to add, maintain or update studentships records.

For further information, see also the general guidance on setting up pools.
