Is the project underpinned by a good medical/scientific rationale? Is there a reasonable body of evidence to support the proposed rationale? Is the approach technically feasible? Is the proposed approach reasonable, appropriate, and justified? Is the methodology appropriate and statistically sound – are all sample sizes properly justified and are the plans for statistical analysis appropriate for the project plan?
