Related Proposals

Previous proposals: if the proposal is related to one or more proposals previously submitted to the Council, select the appropriate relationship from the list and enter the Council's reference number(s). Reference numbers must be entered using the correct format to be recognised by the Je-S system.

If re-submission is selected, you may be asked to provide a reason for re-submission. If so, a brief (<100 characters) reason must be given, e.g. invited by EPSRC panel.

Applicants must declare whether the new proposal relates to a previously submitted outline application or is a re-submission of a previous application. If this application is a re-submission, a cover letter explaining the differences must be attached (use 'cover letter' attachment option).

Related Proposals: Applicants must declare whether the new proposal relates to a previously submitted outline application or is a continuation or re-submission of a previous application.

Please note that unsuccessful applicants may only submit ONE re-application for an MRC Fellowship. This application will be assessed in open competition with first time applicants. As competition will be strong, you may wish to pursue alternative funding options in addition to your re-submission. You MUST state how the previous proposal has been modified in this section.
