Administer User Access

It is possible to share documents with existing Je-S (registered and unregistered) users

To share a document with a Je-S user: (Only the owner of a document can give access to another user)

  1. Open the document that you wish to share and from the 'document actions' menu select 'administer user access'
  2. Within administer user access please select the link - .
  3. Click on the select link to the right of the name box
  4. Use the Search facility to enter the name of the person you wish to select and from the list of people returned please select the relevant registered user by selecting the blue PID link
  5. Select a privilege for the user you wish to add to the document from the drop down menu and a reason for their addition to the document. Save the information
  6. An e-mail will be sent to the person who has been granted the access to the document.  They will be able to access the document by logging into their own Je-S account, selecting 'documents' and opening the document from their document list
To remove access:

Only users who are the document owner or one of the applicants are able to remove their own access at any stage, both pre and post submission

1. Repeat Step 1 above

2. Select the Remove link next to the person who wish to remove.
